Watford MP Dean Russell was invited to an Open Day hosted by the Watford Portuguese Association. The event brought together the Portuguese Consulate, local businesses, prominent local figures and the wider community.  

Cherry Tree Primary School in Watford were invited to visit Number 10 for a special Lessons at 10, hosted by Mrs Murty, the Prime Minister's wife. This special opportunity allowed the pupils to see what goes on behind the scenes of the famous black door of 10 Downing Street. 
 

Cheska Tyler from Cherry Tree Primary School and Michael Jones from Parmiters School were nominated by Dean Russell MP to attend a reception at Number 10 celebrating ‘Education Champions’.

Dean was honoured to speak during the budget debate today. His speech focussed on the NHS and technology. You can watch the whole speech here.

In Watford and across the UK, your government cut your National Insurance from 12% to 10%. Today, the government are cutting your National Insurance from 10% to 8%.

That’s a £900 tax cut for people on average salaries.
