In Watford

The Met Office has forecasted an unsettled period over the coming days, peaking with Storm Ciarán crossing the south of the country on Thursday. A yellow weather warning has been issued for very strong winds and heavy rain associated with Storm Ciarán.

I enjoyed litter picking with the hard working Friends of Cassiobury Park on Saturday. The group meet on a regular basis to undertake work in the park.

In 2020, Dean Russell MP launched an ambitious target of training a thousand people in mental health first aid awareness across Watford. The long-term goal was created to tackle stigma and encourage conversations around mental wellbeing.

I am really looking forward to attending the Watford Fringe Festival again this year. The acts last year were incredible, and the Festival this year is even bigger with such a variety of performances for everyone - from music, to comedy, to question and answer sessions.

Following meeting at the Chinese New Year​ celebration at Watford Football Club, Dean was pleased to be invited to attend a meeting of The Watford Chinese Association.
