Watford residents seeking job opportunities had the chance to meet with numerous employers under one roof at the recent Watford Jobs Fair.
Organised by Dean Russell MP and the Watford Job Centre, this event was to promote employment in the area. The fair not only provided jobseekers with employment opportunities but also valuable resources for improving their skills and enhancing their employability.
The event offered jobseekers a unique opportunity to engage with a variety of local businesses and employers, all eager to welcome new talent into their workforce. The fair emphasised not only job placements but also fostering personal development, offering advice on skills enhancement, CV improvements, and interview techniques. This approach aims to empower jobseekers and prepare them for the competitive job market.
Dean Russell MP, a key supporter of economic development in Watford, recognises the significant opportunities available in the thriving town. He supports the determination of businesses to invest in Watford, which has resulted in job creation and contributed to the local economy.
Mr Russell said, ‘I would like to express my thanks to the hard working staff at Watford Job Centre who work tirelessly all year round supporting people into employment. I would also like to thank Costco for kindly sponsoring the refreshments. The Jobs Fair brings together local businesses and jobseekers giving them a real opportunity to speak to potential employers who have live vacancies in Watford’.
