Dean Russell visited Knutsford Primary to discuss online safety. The event was hosted by Google to highlight their Be Internet Legends programme. Google research showed that 96 % of teachers believe that children should learn about online safety at home and in school.

Dean had a two-hour meeting with the Chief Inspector of policing in Watford, CI Matt Phillips. They discussed the existing challenges facing the police in reducing crime in Watford and Hertfordshire more broadly.
Watford Football Club is a prized asset for our constituency. A Premier League football club with an esteemed history and local importance. Dean has now met several times with officials from the club to discuss their great work in the community.
Dean was honoured to write a hand-written message in the legacy tribute book to Nelson Mandela. Commissioned in 1999, the books authors include President Obama, Paul McCartney and hundreds of other global figures.
Dean spent time with Simon Stevens, the CEO of the NHS. He discussed current NHS strategy for dealing with the Coronavirus as well as the redevelopment of Watford General Hospital. Dean is a lead amongst the new intake of Parliamentarians on matters of health and social care.
