1998-2001: Academic Physics Researcher with Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils (CCLRC)

2001: Moved to London to begin career in communications and digital consultancy

2002: Led initiatives to promote online accessibility for people with disabilities

2003: Joined start-up web agency, working on projects and campaign for major global businesses including Gillette/David Beckham, HP, and GSMA.

2007: Appointed as columnist for Third Sector magazine – UK’s leading charity magazine (columnist for 5 years)

2007: Joined leading UK digital and brand communications agency

  • Co-authored multiple reports into Higher Education, Local Government and NHS communications
  • Performed seminars across England, Wales & Scotland on business trends and communications
  • Published articles and quotes for Health Service Journal, Times Higher Education and leading publications
  • Co-authored professional report into NHS websites for Department of Health

2008: Appointed as Vice Chair for NHS HealthSpace Patient Reference Panel

2009: Appointed as Volunteer Champion for the Media Trust, UK’s leading communications charity

2011: Regularly lectured and mentored students for University of Hertfordshire marketing/MBA programme

2012: Joins global communications agency in Director role overseeing Europe, Middle East & Africa

2012: Appointed as judge for Third Sector Excellence Awards

2012: Set-up and led first official Conservative Party tweet-up hosted by Grant Shapps MP and digital debate at Conservative Conference
